Shoppers not wearing masks a problem for arizona grocery stores
Grocery store workers are starting to notice, and they’re quite anxious to find that most of their customers just won’t wear masks. It’s said that at least 20% of employees to major grocery store chains in AZ are concerned about the issue due to a rise in physical assaults by shoppers refusing to cooperate with local regulations. Just about 4,000 members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 99 union responded to the university’s of Arizona’s email invitation to participate in a study regarding masks. About 19% of the workers said they feared being physically assaulted by a customer, down from about 22% since last July. About 45% of respondents this month said they fear being verbally attacked by a customer, down from 54% last summer.
Listen. We get it, but just wear a mask. As someone with big ears who’s mask falls off constantly, it’s massively annoying for me as well. And I have asthma. But, I still wear the mask.
